Автомобили, выпущенные после 1996 года и более поздних годов выпуска оснащены системой OBD2 и требуют использования диагностического сканера для извлечения кодов неисправностей.
Считывание кодов неисправностей
- Переведите выключатель зажигания в положение OFF
- Найдите диагностический разъем (Data Link Connector (DLC)), см. рисунок ниже.
- Перемкните клеммы A&B (можно использовать скрепку или провод для перемычки).
- Переведите выключатель зажигания в положение ON.
- Посчитайте количество вспышек на лампе «CHECK ENGINE» или «SERVICE ENGINE».
Пример: мигание, пауза, мигание, мигание = код 12
ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ: Некоторые модели 1994 и 1995 гг. не имеют клеммы B. В этом случае требуется диагностический сканер.
ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ: Для некоторых моделей 1994 и 1995 годов выпуска, у которых имеются клеммы A и B, все равно потребуется диагностический сканер.

Как удалить коды ошибок
Диагностические коды неисправностей могут быть удалены путем отсоединения кабеля питания аккумуляторной батареи не менее чем на 20 секунд.
